The Junior League of Alexandria is proud to announce the 18th Annual A Very Merry Market! The Market will be held October 28-30, 2021, at the Randolph Riverfront Center in downtown Alexandria.  

The Randolph Riverfront Center will be filled with merchants from all over the region featuring a variety of items including apparel, jewelry, home goods, handmade items, food and so much more!

Ladies Night

A Very Merry Market will kick off with the Ladies’ Night “Shop at the Big Top” themed event on Thursday, October 28 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Ladies Night, presented in partnership with Alexandria Emergency Hospital, will feature Circus themed food by Maison Louisiane Catering; specialty drinks from Southbound Spirits, and music by DJ Tony Groove. It’s the perfect time to get the first peek at more than 40 booths and get an early start on Christmas shopping! This year there will be three different levels of Ladies’ Night tickets. The Ringmaster VIP Ticket is $65.00 and includes an hour of early shopping, special VIP seating, carnival food bites, 2 drink tickets, and a very nice swag bag! The Acrobat Ticket is $55.00 and includes early shopping, 2 drink tickets, carnival food bites and a small swag bag. The Jester Ticket is $35.00 and gets 2 drink tickets plus carnival snacks.

General admission shopping hours on Friday, October 29, are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, October 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost for general admission is $6.00 in advance or $8.00 at the door. Enjoy live performances on the Market stage throughout the day.

The Dinosaur Experience, out of Lafayette, will be there and ready to entertain boys and girls of all ages. This Christmas themed event will include Ranger Martin, dinosaur Rexi, and dinosaur Nash. There will be 6 seatings - 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $16 a person and there is limited seats for each showing. Ranger Martin and Rexi will read a Christmas story to the children and they will have a drink and cookies plus a small craft and photo opportunities. Support for Character Events comes from our partners Great American Cookie Company and Rapides Women’s and Children's Hospital.
