​NEW TO YOU

The New to You shop is a thrift shop that is run by 3 employees and volunteers from the Junior League of Alexandria. The shop has been in business since in 1946 and continues to be an asset to both the community and the League. Our storefront is open for normal hours. The donation center will be open on Saturdays only for drop off. Please bear with us as we social distance for everyone’s safety.

The proceeds from the New to You shop are used to help the community, through our community projects and programs. The purpose of New to You is not only to raise money for our community, but to also provide slightly worn or used clothing and household items to the community of Alexandria at an affordable price. Our employees and volunteers strive to provide personalized service to our valued customers.

The New to You Shop is located at 2109 Lee Street, Alexandria and is owned by the Junior League of Alexandria. Our hours are 9:00 am-4:00 pm Tuesday-Friday and 9:30 am-3:00 pm Saturday. The New to You Shop gladly accepts and appreciates donations of clothing and household items, including furniture, which can be dropped off on M-F from 9:00 am - 12 noon and from 1:00pm - 3:30pm and on Saturdays from 9:30 am - 12 noon and from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm.
